8th grade girls, remember you have a basketball game
TOMORROW at Euclid. A team will have a game at 11am.
Please arrive at Euclid by 10:30 am. B Team will play at 12 PM.
Please arrive by 11:30 AM. Remember you will need to have a
ride to and from Euclid. Don't forget your water bottles.
Please bring a change of clothes, so we can collect uniforms
after you play. Also bring your $3 for your pizza party on the 13th.
Attention all 8th grade boys: basketball season is here! Please
join coaches for an interest meeting after school on Thursday,
December 13, in room 1113. Make sure to arrange for a ride home
after the meeting. You’ll get a season schedule and all forms needed
to participate. If you can’t make the meeting, see coaches after school
in the gym for the first practice on Monday, December 17. Contact coach
Conant through Newton’s Athletics/Intramurals website with questions.
“Congratulations to the Newton wrestlers! They had
a great season and the
seventh and eighth graders finished with third place in the
tournament last night. Many wrestlers took first place, including
Cole J with an undefeated middle school record. Great job guys!
We’ll be celebrating with a pizza party after winter break, listen
for details in the announcements. “
This a reminder for those NJHS students attending tomorrow's
volunteer opportunity at Children's Hospital at Anschutz. Please
meet Ms. Omdahl outside the front of the main entrance by 9:45.

Our next Newton Community KNight is coming up on Tuesday, Dec 11th
at the Chipotle at University and Dry Creek from 4pm to 8pm. Mention
