Attention all 8th grade boys: basketball season is here!
Please join coaches for an interest meeting after school
TODAY, in room 1113. Make sure to arrange for a ride home
after the meeting. You’ll get a season schedule and all forms
needed to participate. If you can’t make the meeting, see coaches
after school in the gym for the first practice on Monday, December 17.
Contact coach Conant through Newton’s Athletics/Intramurals website
with questions.

8th grade girls basketball players remember to turn in your uniforms
and your $3 for your end of season party TODAY after school in room 1372.

There are new pictures hanging throughout the building and the look great!
The pictures that were replaced are with Mr. Wilmes. If you had a picture on
the wall that you would like to have, stop by and see Mr. Wilmes this week.

Tomorrow the CODE Shack will be open during lunch. Bring your CODE
cards to the cafeteria as you will not be able to go back to your locker to
grab them. You may spend up to 7 cards in exchange for treats. Remember
to save 5 of your CODE cards for the Fashion Show!

Interested in Fashion?  Want to see some of your classmates show off
their best or funkiest style?  Well, now you can! And, better yet, it's for
a good cause! Next Wednesday the 19th during Homeroom, Friday's elective,
FASHION DRIVE, will be putting on a Fashion Show!

These students are using the clothing that has been donated to put together
fun and creative outfits.  In order to come to the Fashion Show, tickets will
cost $2 or 5 CODE cards. Starting TODAY at lunch time, you will be able to
buy your ticket from a Fashion Drive representative!  There is limited seating,
so get your ticket fast! All clothing and proceeds from the Fashion Show will
be donated to families here in our community who needs them! Newton Middle
School has shown their dedication for their community through an awesome
canned food drive last week, let's keep showing how we GIVE to others!

The winner of the Gingerbread House Kit from the Cafeteria is
Joshua Greenleaf - please  come to the office and claim your prize

Save the Oceans Club is cancelled today!

Congratulations to 6th grade performing arts classes and
7th and 8th grade choirs and Knight Notes for a great concert last night!
Thank you from Ms Andrews.
