Attention 8th Graders: Please take the time to fill out the 'Most Likely To" survey in the 8th Grade Google Classroom this week for the Yearbook.  The survey will close this Friday.

This week is your last chance to pre-order a yearbook.  To make sure you get one, find the flyer in your grade level google classroom or go to the Newton Website and find the ad at the top that says "Now’s Your Chance"  See Mr. Atherton or Mrs. Mater with Questions.

Attention 8th Graders: Please take the time to fill out the 'Most Likely To" survey in the 8th Grade Google Classroom this week for the Yearbook.  The survey will close this Friday.

This week is your last chance to pre-order a yearbook.  To make sure you get one, find the flyer in your grade level google classroom or go to the Newton Website and find the add at the top that says "Now’s Your Chance"  See Mr. Atherton or Mrs. Mater with Questions. 

Student council members-just a reminder that we have a meeting on Today after school at 4pm in the library until 4:45pm. Please make sure you have a ride home when the meeting ends at 4:45pm. See Mrs. Jenkins with any questions.

Congratulations to the 7th grade boys basketball teams for their victories over Goddard last night. The A team won 53 to 32 with Dahntay, Theo, and Ryland all scoring in double digits. The B team cruised to a 34 to 10 win, highlighted by the fine play of Ollie, Nathan and Andrew V. To close out the night, our C team won 21 to 12 with Jackson leading all scorers. Good luck to the 8th grade teams in their games at Powell today.

Hey Newton!  TODAY is the day!!  Join us in the art room afterschool for the No Name Club!  Come hang out with your friends, eat snacks, play games and make art!   Please talk to Mrs. Winschuh or Ms. Andrews for more information.

Today is the day! We will be determining Newton's best speller this afternoon at 4:15 in the cafetorium. If you have a friend participating, you are welcome to come and encourage them as they compete. We'll see you at the Spelling Bee this afternoon.

8th grade WEB leaders, you will be giving the homeroom lesson today!  Please check in with Mrs. Barto and then you will head to your 6th grade homerooms!

There will be a NJHS meeting after school TODAY in Ms. Omdahl's room. December service hours will be due at this time. Please wear your t-shirts.  Thank you in advance for your service to our school and 

Community.

Just a reminder that the next student council meeting is Tuesday 17th at 8am in the library. See Mrs. Jenkins with questions. 

Students are you looking for something fun to do with all your friends? Need some activity that isn't in this cold weather? Student council is inviting you to the Newton Skate City night on Tuesday, January 17th from 6pm-8pm. Family, friends, students and staff are invited to this Newton only skate party! Come hang out, listen to some music, skate and meet other knights!!

Attention 8th Graders- Fill out the Most Likely to Survey on the 8th Grade Google Classroom to vote for the 8th Grade Awards to be put in the Yearbook.

 

Attention all Students- If you received a flyer during homeroom yesterday, did you get your parents to go online and buy a yearbook?  Make sure you get your yearbook so you are a part of the book that everyone is a main character in.  Electronic flyers are also posted in each Grade Level Google Classroom.  See Mr. Atherton or Mrs. Mater with questions.

7th and 8th graders: Just a reminder, you need to enter through the athletic entrance in the mornings!

Students, please check your knight time schedule for today and tomorrow in your grade level google classroom. Some changes have been made to locations and the Friday schedule has been finalized.
