goggles, goggles... 8th graders need their goggles today
It's
Deaf day!! Weather you bought ear plugs or not, try not to use your voice for a
class or the entire day. Rely on your other 4 senses, writing, gesturing,
and pantomiming to get your message across. The ear plugs will not block
out all of the sound, but give you some insight to a Deaf world. The
answer for yesterdays trivia question: Which profoundly Deaf actress won
A Tony for Best Actress in 1980? is Phyllis Frelich, Marlee Matlin played the
same role in a movie version a 6 years later. Check out the library, the
window of room 307, and the talking hands club for books and more information
on Deaf culture. Today's final trivia question is: How do scuba divers
communicate under water? Staff you can put your guess in the mail room.
