CODE cart is back! Please bring your code cards to lunch TOMORROW to
trade them in for a treat! There are all sorts of goodies to choose from,
so bring your cards to lunch. You will not be allowed to leave the
cafeteria to get them, so please bring your code cards with you!
8th
Graders – Please make sure your parents are checking our website under the
parent tab for upcoming high school dates that you need to be aware of.
Timinski
is still the reigning homeroom champion for 8th grade, and Finer barely snuck
in a win against Gardner after two grueling days of battle. Homerooms let’s
find a challenge that will take down these Monarchs. May also beat Stice after
two days of competition.
Attention
Newton Fantasy Footballers. We will meet Thursday after school in Mr. Atherton's room,
Room 214 to go over last week’s results, award prizes and give you time to
propose trades and set your rosters for this week’s games. See Mr. A if
you can't make it.
The first
meeting of Newton's National Junior Honor Society will be tomorrow afternoon
at 3:00 p.m. in the mini-theatre. Anyone who
joined NJHS last spring as a 7th grader is invited to attend. If you have
