Students:  If you would like to participate in either the Spelling Bee or Brain Bowl this year, please sign up on the interest list outside Mrs. Lacey's room, room 206.  Both Spelling Bee and Brain Bowl will most likely run as after school clubs this year rather than during Knight Time.  

 

Picture retake day is Thursday!  If you did not get your picture taken on schedule pick-up day, you will receive a pass 1^st period with a time to report to the mini theater.  If you are getting retakes – you must bring in your old packet or an order form for new pictures – you will be dismissed to the mini theater over the PA around 9:00 am.

 

The PE department will be selling Jamba Juice this Thursday after school in the  same location right outside the main entrance of the school.  There will be the same three flavors as always 8oz for $2 and 16oz for $4.  Please see Mr. Blake or Ms. Plegge if you have any questions.

 

8th grade track team: Get excited because there is a meet this afternoon at Powell. We will meet in the East parking lot directly after school. Please remember your uniform. Go Knights!

 

Many great answers for yesterday’s trivia:  What do football players use today that was created by Deaf football players?  The answer is the huddle!!  Check out the library and in the window of room 307 for books and more information on Deaf culture.  Today's trivia question is: Approximately how many people in the U.S. are Deaf or hard of hearing?  Give us your answer at lunch for a chance to win prizes, as well as purchase your ear plugs to wear on Friday. Friday you can have the opportunity to experience what it would be like to be Deaf: wear ear plugs and try not to communicate with spoken language!

 

Students – remember if you have a pass to go to another place during KT – you MUST check in with your KT teacher FIRST!
