Nutrition Services is excited to announce their December promotion. We will be hosting a festive sweater day tomorrow. For this promotion, we are encouraging all students and staff to come eat lunch with us with their most festive, silly, sweater! The school with the highest participation will win a hot chocolate day at lunch the following week.  Let’s win this!!!

Good Morning Staff: Get excited because tomorrow is Awkward Family Photo Day! Think about any outfits, props or poses you’d like so your photo shoot is amazingly awkward and hilarious.

Congratulations to our band, choir, and orchestra students for performing in some fantastic concerts this week. We are so proud of your hard work and the joy you bring to our community!

8th grade boys keep your hands to yourselves in the hallway. If you receive a referral for this behavior your consequence will be either lunch detention or after school detention.

At 3:00pm all 7th grade orchestra students will report to the stage to prepare for tonight's concert.  We will make an announcement at that time.

• Hear a short message from other kids like you

• Pray together

• Support and encourage each other

Come experience the joy of faith and friendship! We meet Friday mornings in Room 0527 (Mr. Wood's room in the 7th grade pod) from 7:55–8:15 AM. Due to the start time, students will enter the building by the 7th grade pod at the end of the bus loop (by the turf field). We can’t wait to see you there!

Today, Thr, Fri: Brain Bowl: Our next meeting is not until next week, but try to get competition forms returned to Mr. Collins as soon as you can so we can hit the ground running on Tuesday next week.

Congratulations to the Newton wrestling team for an amazing season! Last night's tournament was an event to behold. Our athletes grappled well into the evening and these matches did not disappoint. Our Newton varsity 1st place district champions are James Delponte and Keaton Lidiak. Varsity silver medals were earned in some of the toughest matches of the night! Great job Jacob Thomas, Ector Campbell, Caden Simpson, Frank Blanco, Tysen Van Gelder and Carter Closson. Our varsity Bronze medalist was Yaxel Villanueva who had an amazing evening. Please also congratulate Devon Simon who took 4th place in his varsity weight class. 

Junior varsity did not disappoint though there are way too many medalists to list, we are extremely proud of their efforts and progress. Great job this season!!!
