Listen up 6th and 7th graders:  If you want to help
write and design Newton’s yearbook next year, make
sure you complete your application packet by next
Tuesday, April 30th. You can ask any questions and pick
up a packet from Mr. Atherton, Mrs. Svigel or the main
office. This will be a Knight Time class, NOT an elective.
We are looking for students who are organized, have
strong writing skills, and who are willing to take photos
at Newton events.

Attention G/T students: Please take a moment to fill
out the end of year survey on the G/T Google Classroom.
Mr. Wood is requesting that your reflections be done by
this Friday, April 26. It will only take you a few minutes!
If you have done it already, thank you, but if you do not
get it done by this Friday, you will be pulled from a Knight Times
next week. Thank you.  

Please join us for our last Newton Community KNight of
the school year! In anticipation of summer break, we will
be celebrating at the Dairy Queen in the Streets of Southglenn
on Tuesday, April 30th from 5-8pm. Come and enjoy a Blizzard,
cone, sundae or any other delicious treat and a portion of your
sale will be donated back to Newton. What: Newton Community

Due to cancelled school, Student Council was also cancelled.
The Student Council meeting is re-scheduled for TODAY, from
4-5 in Mrs. Bond's room. This is the last official meeting of the
year, we're looking forward to seeing you!!  

If you have been meaning to turn in your Knight Notes
application but haven't gotten around to it, it's time to DO it!  
Auditions are this week TODAY & TOMORROW by appointment,
so don't miss it!

6th or 7th grader can audition on Wednesday, April 24
or Thursday, April 25 after school.  Get an audition form
outside the choir room, Rm. 1232. Complete the form
and then see Ms. Andrews for an audition day and time.

Scholastic Summer Reading Book Fair.  If you would like to help

for our project about understanding disabilities!  If you'd still like
to participate, submit your video on the Flipgrid link by TONIGHT
at midnight. If you have questions or need help, see Mrs. Lacey or
Ms. Gardner.

Attention 7th grade volleyball girls - We will have open
gym Monday morning at 8:00. This is opposite of what
we said but were able to work out the scheduling issues.
This is completely optional. Remember, our last game in
Monday afternoon here at home against Euclid.
