Are you a basketball player?  Are you new to the game?  Either way, we would love to have you join us to sharpen your skills and have some fun at the 7th annual Newton/Littleton Girls Basketball Clinic on Wednesday, September 7th, and Thursday, September 8th, here in the Newton gym. Open to all girls grades 6-8 regardless of future high school or experience. See the LHS bulletin board or main office for flyers and details!


Student Council is starting TOMORROW, September 1st in Mrs. Mack's room.  It is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  Come help us plan the Haunted House for the fall dance.  Or come up with some really great ideas for Spirit Week. Do you love music, then be on the danceathon committee and pick the songs we play.  Come help make Newton a great school.  Join student council TOMORROW, September 1st in Mrs. Mack's room, 1592.


It’s a late start today, but don’t be late for the Art or Lego Clubs tomorrow after school! No supplies or experience necessary. Bring your $20 club fee and either arrange a ride home or take the late bus home.



Reminders:
Attention all students- Please remember to use the Chromebooks as a tool for learning.  This means that you are NOT allowed to download any extensions or games.  Pokemon Go and other games like that are not allowed.  Take pride in your device and treat it with care.  You will be charged if you have more than one incident.


STUDENTS - If you forget your chrome book, forgot to charge your chrome book or need to check one out at the library for any reason - YOU MUST go to class and check in first before going to the library. You will be counted tardy if you don’t.

STUDENTS - Lunch boxes and water bottles that are left outside or in the cafeteria will be thrown away every Friday at the end of the day (even if you just lost it on Friday). Be sure to remember to take your lunch box with you. Even if your name is in it, it is your responsibility to retrieve it. This will start Friday, Sept 2nd!

We'll meet Thursdays after school in the art room and you can take the late bus home or arrange for a ride. Remember, a club fee of $25 covers all your clubs for the entire year! First meeting is Thursday, September 1st.


Legos, Legos, Legos! Come and join the Newton Lego Club. Build and create with friends or work to make some Stop Motion Videos with Legos. We’ll meet in the second Art Room after school on Thursdays, starting next week! No experience or legos necessary- just a good attitude!
