Good morning NMS Knights!

With the awesome snow days, Make-A-Wish spirit
week hasn't had as many days to collect money.  
We will extend the money collection through tomorrow
morning, so bring your generous donations to your
SECOND PERIOD EVEN CLASS.  Student Council will
collect buckets tomorrow and announce the winning
class on Friday morning, and they will receive a donut party!

Thanks for your help in supporting these children and
their wish that helps them hope to move forward!


7th and 8th Grade Basketball players... you need to turn in
your basketball uniforms ASAP to the main office.

Any 7th grader with a GPA of 3.5 or higher is eligible to join
the National Junior Honor Society, or NJHS!  NJHS is a
community service based organization that focuses on values
such as scholarship, service, leadership, character, and
citizenship. In NJHS, you can help your community and have
fun doing it. Fill out the application by this Friday in your 7th
grade Google Classroom!

The last few days of getting CODE Nominations in is this week.
 Students, get them in before the end of the day Friday!!

Lunchboxes will be thrown away on Friday!

"Attention all 6th graders. Does the word DRONE interest you?
 How about 3D mapping, and virtual reality video? Our new drone
program at Newton, called Knight Flights, will be launching this
spring.  For more information and the application process please
visit Mr. Finer's webpage. All applications must be submitted by March 24th."

If you participate in Jazz Band listen up!  You will be
called down to the gym to take your group picture
TOMORROW during Knight Time. You will go to your
Knight Time class like usual, then wait to hear the
announcement over the intercom. This club photo
will only take a few minutes, then you can head right
back to class. Listen for more information tomorrow.

There will be no game club, as Mr. Burns is out

There will be a mandatory NJHS meeting after school today.
If you cannot attend, please let me Ms. Omdahl know ASAP.

Do you want to be around people who share your
passion? If so, join kazoo club! Kazoo club will
take place on Thursdays after school from 4:00
through 4:40 in room 1591 starting this Thursday.
More details will be discussed at the first meeting.
Little or no music skill required.  


Just a reminder that we have the 7th grade vs
8th grade basketball game after school from
4:05 to 5:00.  We look forward to a fun experience.
Just a reminder that if you are staying for the game
as a spectator, please be respectful of both teams!

Any 8th grader headed for Littleton High School next
year is welcome to audition for one of their select choirs.  
Mr. Farrell will be here on Monday, March 18 and will hear
informal auditions starting at 10:30am. Please see or email
Ms. Andrews for more information, or to get on the audition list.

We are down to the final 4 in the Book Elimination Bracket
in the library.  Come in a vote for your favorite this week!

Newton Knights!  We are excited to see all the Triplets out
at school today!  Thanks for showing your School Spirit!

Mr. Wyckhuyse and his undefeated 7th grade a team have
a challenge for you!  In one week, the 7th grade boys A team,
is challenging the 8th grade boys A team to a game.  TOMORROW,
after school, 7th grade a team vs 8th grade a team! We will see you
there. Students that want to stay to watch the game, the game will
end before the late buses leave.  Come root on the boys as they battle.

Any 8th grader headed for Littleton High School next year is

Practices begin on Monday, March 11th at 7:45

7th & 8th grade boys basketball, or 6th grade
basketball- you will be called down to the gym

We are having a 16 Book Elimination Contest in the library.
