Interested in Fashion?  Want to see some of your
classmates show off their best or funkiest style?  
Well, now you can! And, better yet, it's for a good cause!
TODAY during Homeroom, Friday's elective, FASHION DRIVE,
will be putting on a Fashion Show!  

These students are using the clothing that has been donated
to put together fun and creative outfits.  In order to come to the
Fashion Show, tickets will cost $2 or 5 CODE cards. You will
be able to buy your ticket from a Fashion Drive representative!
 There is limited seating, so get your ticket fast! All clothing
and proceeds from the Fashion Show will be donated to families
here in our community who needs them!  Newton Middle School
has shown their dedication for their community through an awesome
canned food drive last week, let's keep showing how we GIVE to others!

"Anyone in the Holiday Pinterest Knight Time, you have until
TOMORROW after school to pick up your project otherwise it
will be donated".

Please join coaches for an interest meeting after school
TODAY, in room 1113. Make sure to arrange for a ride home
after the meeting. You’ll get a season schedule and all forms
needed to participate. If you can’t make the meeting, see coaches
after school in the gym for the first practice on Monday, December 17.

8th grade girls basketball players remember to turn in your uniforms
and your $3 for your end of season party TODAY after school in room 1372.


There are new pictures hanging throughout the building and the look great!
The pictures that were replaced are with Mr. Wilmes. If you had a picture on
the wall that you would like to have, stop by and see Mr. Wilmes this week.


Tomorrow the CODE Shack will be open during lunch. Bring your CODE
cards to the cafeteria as you will not be able to go back to your locker to
grab them. You may spend up to 7 cards in exchange for treats. Remember
to save 5 of your CODE cards for the Fashion Show!

Student Council and NJHS would like to extend a big thank you
for helping to make the Canned Food Drive such a huge success.  
We surpassed our goal of 1,000 cans and collected 1,176. 7th grade
won the challenge, but it was a very close race. Thank you for ALL
who participated.  

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls for their tournament
performance on Saturday. Even decimated by injuries, A team
played valiantly against Goddard.  B team placed second in the
district tournament. 8th grade girls basketball players remember

TOMORROW  at Euclid. A team will have a game at 11am.
Please arrive at Euclid by 10:30 am.  B Team will play at 12 PM.
Please arrive by 11:30 AM. Remember you will need to have a
ride to and from Euclid. Don't forget your water bottles.
Please bring a change of clothes, so we can collect uniforms
after you play.  Also bring your $3 for your pizza party on the 13th.

“Congratulations to the Newton wrestlers!  They had
a great season and the
seventh and eighth graders finished with third place in the
tournament last night. Many wrestlers took first place, including
Cole J with an undefeated middle school record. Great job guys!
 We’ll be celebrating with a pizza party after winter break, listen
for details in the announcements. “

This a reminder for those NJHS students attending tomorrow's
volunteer opportunity at Children's Hospital at Anschutz.  Please
meet Ms. Omdahl outside the front of the main entrance by 9:45.

Congratulations to 7th graders Talley Dand Maddie M,
who passed a very rigorous and competitive audition to
be selected out of hundreds of students to sing with the
2019 Colorado Middle School All-State Choir in March.
