Our season is about to begin.We will be having an informational meeting with Coach Daniel in room 1592 right after school TOMORROW.  Wrestling is a great sport for all to be involved in.  It will be a short meeting so please arrange a ride if you ride the bus in the afternoon.

We are looking for enthusiastic student volunteers for the Newton Book Fair.  If you would like to volunteer for the book fair please see Ms. Lawler in the library for an application.  Applications are due by Friday !

The club is back again this year because it was such a success! The Newton Knightly News Club will create a student newspaper delivering the latest happenings at our school. This club is open for ALL grades. Go to Mrs. Svigel's room after school on Monday October 12th for a 10 minute interest meeting. Writers, editors, and photographers are wanted.

Raise $25,000 for our school.Every student can help by encouraging your parents to participate.  Today in homeroom you’ll learn more about grade level contests, random gift card drawings, a special Newton Middle School night at Chik-Fil-A and an opportunity to win an amazing sports and movie tickets package. We’ll have contest updates each week until Friday, October 30, so stay tuned!

PICTURE RETAKES ---- are TODAY - If you did not take pictures in August and do not get a pass in 1st period, please let the office know after 1st period ends..  If you are doing a retake - you will be called over the PA when it is time to come down - you must bring your original picture packet with you to do a retake.  NO Picture retakes will be done for yearbook purposes only.
