 7th graders -  

The amount of trash that was left outside yesterday was alarming.  It’s a simple process to be able to eat outside.  All you have to do is throw your trash away.  If we can't do that, we will not be able to eat outside moving forward.  

 

Also, you are not allowed to push or pull the students on the swings.  You may not jump off the swings.  Lastly, you can not twist back and forth as you go up and down.  If these actions continue, we will no longer allow you to use the swings.  We have had two major injuries on the swings in three days.

Petrelli’s homeroom was accidentally put in the wrong bracket, and yet, they survived until yesterday. These 6th graders fought hard against many odds only to loose to Worsley’s 7th grade homeroom by one point. Empathy all around. Braun whooped Timinski’s homeroom; Tough loss after Timinski’s class fought so hard against Hissem. May the battles commence today during homeroom.

Kickball continues. Timinski pulled out the win with Hissem.  May's Web Leaders will carry the torch in the kickball championship tournament. Wood's Web Leaders, while heavy favorites, failed to live up to the LEADER status falling in embarrassing fashion 15-3 to a much superior opponent in Ms. Rodrigue's homeroom. "It's a tournament, dude. When you lose, you're done," Aaron Rushmore was heard saying in disappointment. Red-faced and dejected, Wood's Webbers are out. However, in a classy sportsmanship kind of way, a couple of Webbers were overheard congratulating Ms.Rodrigue's team for a well deserved win.  On the bright side, 6th graders will be seeing more of Wood's Webbers because the kickball season has ended abruptly.

Braun beat Cosenza by a lot, but Cosenza did not go down without a fight, scoring a homeroom herself. Carstensen and Enterline had a great game with Carstensen winning, and Timinski continues to battle it out against Hissem with a 9-9 score at the top of the third.  Per Ms. Timinski, Kayden was first at bat and sunk a 3 point shot...so that was impressive !

Despite the rain storm, Mr. Wilmes and Mrs. Adolph played in the gym. Mrs Adolph proudly informed that she beat Wilmes 15-2. Yike! There is a correction to yesterday's announcement. It was Petrelli and Lacey's homerooms that won.
