Attention all 7th grade boys! If you are interested in playing basketball
for Newton, please attend a brief meeting after school on Thursday, in Mr.
Worsley's Room 110. If you can't make
the meeting, please see Mr. Worsley about information regarding
practices/eligibility. The meeting will
not last longer than 10-15 minutes, so please prearrange a ride home. Thanks.
Students who are interested in participating in the Spelling
Bee this year need to sign up on the list outside Mrs. Lacey's door, room 206,
by Thursday. We will do some practice
and the written bee on Fridays during homeroom, but some after school time may
be needed to complete the oral spelling bee.
Congratulations to Michelle K. who has been chosen to
participate in the University of Colorado Middle School Honor Band. The 60
students in this band were chosen from auditions open to all Colorado middle
school band students.
