Pledge of Allegiance
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all.”
Attention 7th graders! Do you like snacks? Are you creative? Are you a leader? WEB applications are NOW posted on your 7th grade google classroom. The deadline for applications is Monday, February 3rd by the end of the school day. Don’t forget to ask two teachers for a recommendation. Recommendation forms can be found right outside of Mr. Wood’s room in the 7th grade pod.
Talk to Mrs. Barto or Ms. Holland with questions.
Thank you for all the fans that came out and cheered on the boys basketball team last night in their games against Goddard. The A-Team had by far the best game of the season and battled hard all the way throughout the game. They came up just a bit short in the end, but are starting to peak at the right time as playoffs begin next week.
The B team played fantastic defense and defeated Goddard by score of 11 - 9. In a frantic final 20 seconds Lucas Hunter made a diving play on the ball and Zain Jordan shut down their best offensive player to seal the victory.
In the final game of the evening, the C team was in a close game the entire night. The lead went back-and-forth and the Knights got the ball back with 15 seconds to go in the game. Yaxel Villanueva drove the link to the court and scored the winning basket with four seconds to go. Way to go Knights!
Our next home game is this Thursday against Powell.
