The Newton Knights ended their wrestling season in style. Our school hosted some of the best wrestling talent in the district. Our wrestlers fought hard on the mat! From our JV team, Preston G took second place and Tyler A took first place in his weight class.
Our varsity team was great! First time wrestlers Drake J, Noah F, Gavin P and Luke F all took second place in their weight class. Way to go gentlemen!
Chase B took first place on the Varsity team in his weight class. He is the best wrestler in his class in the district. Way to go Chase!
A special shout out to Charlotte J who fought on mat and then raced over to be in the play!
Great job to all of you! 8th graders, it's been a great ride, thank you so much for all you have done. 6th and 7th graders, we look forward to seeing you next year.

Thank you for all the generous Coats for Colorado donations - with your generosity, we collected over 100 coats. Today is the last day for our school-wide NJHS collection - if you brought coats, please bring them to Ms. Omdahl's room 1526 before the end of the day. Thank you for keeping our community warm and have a great Thanksgiving Break.
