The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Newton Library on Monday Oct 22nd. We are looking for volunteers to help with the book fair. If you are interested in helping out with the book fair please pick up an application in the library. Applications are due back by Mon Oct 8th.
Chromebooks need to be charged each night for 8 hours.
Plug you Chromebook into a working outlet. If your
Chromebook is charging correctly it will have a charging
light when you plug it in. When powering up your computer,
DO NOT PRESS THE POWER BUTTON, this turns off the
computer. Just open up your computer and it should come
on by itself. And of course remember to bring your computer
with you each day and have it fully charged.
Boys and girls 7th grade track teams- Please turn in your
jerseys to Ms. Ubrun or Mr. Wilmes this week.
6th & 7th grade students - If you are open enrolled to
Newton from outside of the district - your parents need
to submit an Intent to Renew form for you to attend Newton next year.
Newton’s Yearbook Staff strives to tell the story of the
whole school year by including as many students as
possible. And we need your help! We’re looking for
photos of your out-of-school activities. Are you into
skateboarding? Martial arts? Guitar lessons? Any type of
after-school activity will be considered. Go to your grade
level Google Classroom for the website link, school code
and directions on how to upload a photo.
