Or come up with some really great ideas for Spirit Week. Do you love music, then be on the danceathon committee and pick the songs we play. Come help make Newton a great school. Join student council on Thursday, September 1st in Mrs. Mack's room, 1592.
Do you get excited about a blank drawing pad, a set of paints or a block of clay? Do you love to create art and learn new techniques? Join the Newton Art Club. We'll meet Thursdays after school in the art room and you can take the late bus home or arrange for a ride. Remember, a club fee of $25 covers all your clubs for the entire year! First meeting is Thursday, September 1st.
Legos, Legos, Legos! Come and join the Newton Lego Club. Build and create with friends or work to make some Stop Motion Videos with Legos. We’ll meet in the second Art Room after school on Thursdays, starting next week! No experience or legos necessary- just a good attitude!
“Psssss,, have you heard that the Newton Art and Lego Clubs both start this Thursday after school?”
“Yeah, I saw a poster in the hall. I’m going to join the Art Club and I already have my $20 club fee in my locker that will cover clubs for the whole school year!”
“Wow, I was going to join the Lego Club and work on a stop motion video. Maybe we can even collaborate? You make the backgrounds and I’ll do the Lego building?”
“Sounds like a plan- see you Thursday in the Art Rooms!”
