"Attention 7th grade girls interested in playing volleyball!  We will be holding a quick interest meeting after school TOMORROW in room 1375.  Please talk to Ms. Amonson or Ms. Trainer with any questions."

Just 10 more days to nominate your classmates for a CODE Award... We have 144 nominations so far.  Remember to be thoughtful in your nominations and selling the reader on why your nominee should win!  Teachers, please continue to promote students to nominate when they have time in class to do so.  Head over to the Newton Website to access the online nomination form. You should be writing a paragraph, minimum, about why they should win.  Thanks for being a part of our school community!

Good Morning!  During lunches TOMORROW, members of the Fair shake knight time will be in the cafeteria asking you to all sign the resolution of respect.  This is a pledge to do your best to combat prejudice and speak out against discrimination.  We would like to see all students stand up to bullying.

Staff & students, our 3rd annual Night of Knights Talent Show will be on Thursday, March 17 at 7:00 pm in the gym.  Adults are $2, students are $1 and tickets will be available at the door. There will be NO school day performance this year, so come Thursday evening and don't miss seeing students and staff display their amazing talents!

Attention 8th grade students.  Do you want to play basketball against Arapahoe HS students?  Next week, the AHS student council is hosting a 3 v 3 basketball game to raise money for their Warrior Week.  If you are interested in playing in the tournament, you need to get a team of 4 people, 2 boys and 2 girls, together.  Submit your team members to the office or contact Ms. Rahne for more information.  There is a cost to play.

SPRING FORWARD - don’t forget to move your clocks ahead 1 hour this weekend!
