Attention 8th Grade Boys- Are You Ready?! The 2015 Newton Knights 8th Grade Boys
Basketball Season starts TODAY. There
will be an interest meeting for all boys who want to play 8th Grade Boys
basketball at 3:00. We will have tryouts
the following week to determine team placement for the season on Monday,
Tuesday, and Thursday. The meeting will
last no longer than 20 minutes, so make your own arrangements for a ride
home. See Mr. Atherton in Room 214 if
you have any questions.
Next Monday starts SPIRIT WEEK! Monday will be "Put a
Lid on Bullying" Day~wear your favorite hat to take a stand against
bullying here at Newton!
Students, there will be an all school pep assembly tomorrow
during Homeroom~don't forget to put on your black and gold tomorrow to show
your support of AHS!!!
If you have any artwork left in the art room, from class or
art studio, please pick it up by Wed. If
you do not pick up your work, it will be recycled at the end of next week.
Attention Fantasy Footballers: We will be meeting today,
Thursday, in Room 214 as soon as the 8th Grade Basketball meeting ends. We will review playoff results, give weekly
prizes and preview next week’s matchups.
