8^th Graders – The LHS Lion Pride Preview is TONIGHT – please check their website or ours for details

 Students who would like to compete in this year's district chess tournament can pick up a registration form along with a rules and information sheet from the blue folder outside Mrs. Lacey's room, room 206.  Registration forms and fees are due by November 22.  No late or on-site registrations will be accepted.  This year's tournament will be held Saturday, December 7 here at Newton. See Mrs. Lacey with questions.

 The CODE cart is back!  Please bring your code cards to lunch TODAY to trade them in for a treat!  There are all sorts of goodies to choose from, so bring your cards to lunch.  You will not be allowed to leave the cafeteria to get them, so please bring your code cards with you!

 Fantasy Football Club will be meeting in Room 214 TODAY after school for week 10 prizes and setting your lineups. See Mr. Atherton with questions

 8^th graders - The deadline for applying to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at Littleton High School is Thursday, December 12, 2013. Please check their website for details.

Have you had a chance lately to hang out with friends, listen to great music and have fun?  Well here is another night to do that-on Monday from 6-8pm Skate City is hosting a Superhero party for Newton.  You can come in a t-shirt or outfit with a favorite superhero in mind. Don't want to dress up? That's okay too-just come to have a great time with your friends.  Admission is $4.50.  Can't wait to see you there at Littleton Skate City on Monday night!

 

Open enrollment reminder –

 •              6th & 7th graders – if you are open enrolled to Newton from outside of the district, please have your parents submit the Intent to Renew form to the office for next year.
 •              8th graders – if you plan on attending AHS, LHS or HHS and do not live in their attendance areas, you must submit open enrollment papers to them.
