- Attention 8th graders. Would you like to travel with your friends to Washington DC? Would you like to see famous sites like the US Capital, the Smithsonian Museums, the Lincoln Memorial, Mount Vernon, the White House, and Arlington National Cemetery? Would you like to spend 4 days and three nights during spring break learning fascinating stories about American History? If so, then bring your parents to an informational meeting TONIGHT, at 6:30 in the band room. See Mr. Fox for more information. Parents – this is not a school sponsored event.
- THE PE DEPARTMENT WILL BE SELLING JAMBA JUICE AFTER SCHOOL TODAY OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE SCHOOL. THERE WILL BE TWO SIZES 8OZ FOR $2 AND 16OZ FOR $4. COME CHOOSE FROM THREE FLAVORS RAZZMATAZZ, MANGO A GO GO AND STRAWBERRY WHIRL. PLEASE COME BY ENJOY AJAMBA AND HELP SUPPORT THE PE DEPARTMENT. You must keep your Jamba Juice outside after you buy it.
- Hey girls basketball players! Before the season begins, learn some basketball skills while having fun on the court at the 4th annual Newton/Littleton Girls Basketball Clinic. The clinic will be held this Wednesday, September 4, and Wednesday, September 11, after school in Newton's main gym. The clinic is just $10 and includes a T-shirt! See Ms. Thomas for a flyer and more details. It will go passed 4, so be sure you have a way home!
- 7th graders-the first track
practice of the season is TODAY, after school. Meet at the picnic
tables for attendance before we walk down to the track for practice.
Don't forget your running shoes and make sure you have water.
- Attention Fantasy Football Players- Today is Draft Day #1! Meet in Mr. Atherton's room as soon as you can after school today so we can get started. Mr. Atherton will provide all materials necessary to draft. We will be drafting BOTH today and next Tuesday, September 3rd. See Mr. Atherton if you can't make it.
