8^th GRADERS – please make sure you are checking our website and the website of the HS you are planning on attending for important HS dates you need to know!

Reminders:

Do you want to bust a move? Then dance club is the place for you!  Come to the Dance Club Interest meeting tomorrow at 3:00 in room 314. This will be a short meeting so be sure you have a ride home!

The next student council meeting will be Monday, Sept. 26^th in room 406 after school. Please plan on attending to organize for the dance. If you have any questions please see Mrs. J  Andrews or Mrs .Jenkins.

Congratulations to both 8^th grade track teams for performing well against Powell in yesterday’s meet.  Don’t forget we have a meet on Thursday against Euclid but no practice.  If you are not participating in the meet, please let Mr. Worsley or Mrs. Mack know by the end of school Wednesday.

OPEN ENROLLMENT for the district begins October 1^st.  Don’t forget, if you are a 6^th or 7^th grader open enrolled from out of the district to Newton, you will need to turn in an INTENT TO RENEW form. If you are an 8^th grader and want to attend an LPS high school that is not your home school – you will need to do an open enroll form for 9^th grade for the high school you wish to attend. THESE FORMS CAN BE FOUND ON THE DISTRICT WEBSITE BEGINNING OCT 1^st.
