Congratulations to all the Newton wrestlers who have dominated the opponents the last two days.  In our matches over Powell, Goddard and Euclid we tallied 37 wins with 15 of them coming from pins.  We do have practice today after school in the cave. Student council would like to thank the PBIS committee and the PTO for putting on a great Halloween party. We would also like to thank the staff and administration for all the help and hard work on the Haunted House. Great job student council members for putting together a great event and proving that Newton is the best  school with the most school spirit.

The Homeroom Participation contest for the Newton Discovery Fund Drive ends on Monday! Homerooms currently in the lead are Osthoff in 6th Grade, Gardner in 7th grade and Ebel in 8th Grade.  The homeroom with the highest number of donations in each grade wins an ice cream sundae party in November!  Can your homeroom take the lead in the final day on Monday?!?!?

Tickets for the Halloween Party will be sold during lunch TODAY  . To get a ticket to enter the party, it is 6 CODE cards or $3. Inside the party, you can buy pizza for $1, soda for $1, and entrance to the haunted house for $2. There will be music, contests, cake walks and carnival games. You will be dismissed from homeroom, and it lasts until 4:00.The code cart will be in the cafeteria TODAY also!

The Littleton Stride is coming up THIS SUNDAY Oct. 30th. Don't miss this fantastic event to support the Littleton public schools foundation. And guess what! The race is the day before halloween so wear your halloween costume while you participate in the 5k or 10k run. You will also receive a long sleeved performance shirt! See Ms. Osthoff for more details.
