Hey Newton Knights, are you ready to capture the memories of next school year? The yearbook staff is looking for talented and enthusiastic students to join us! Applications are now open, so don't miss out on the chance to be a part of something special! Please look to your grade level Google Classroom to find the application. Applications are due April 18th.
Attention CURRENT NJHS members, our next mandatory meeting will be TODAY after school in Ms. Seavall's room. We will see you there.
Girls who like to ride bikes, we are starting a club for you! We will be ending the school year by riding the trails around Newton together. Informational meeting is after school on April 16th in the professional development room number 1. See Ms Gardner in room 530 or Mr Wood in room 527 if you want more information.
Good morning student council! Our meeting this Thursday has been cancelled. Please mark your calendars and plan ahead for our next meeting on Thursday, May 1. There is a lot to wrap up for the end of the year, so we'll see all of you then!
Newton Middle School has a long standing tradition of winning the Stock Market Game, and we did not fail again this year. Coming in first place is Avery Naughton and second place is Owen Evans. Congratulations to both of you!
Congratulations to our 8th Grade Lady Knights for an exciting end to the volleyball season on Saturday.
C TEAM took the court bright and early, bringing the HEAT to kick off the day! With heads held high and hearts full of hustle, they battled hard against a tough Euclid squad. It wasn’t the outcome we wanted, but the grit, the grind, and the spirit? UNMATCHED. Way to go!
B TEAM may have only had SIX players, but don’t let the numbers fool you… they were a FORCE! They gave Powell everything they had and kept them scrambling in two ridiculously close sets. B Team had it all: Heart, hustle, and teamwork!
A TEAM took the court, locked in, and battled through a three-set thriller that had us all on the edge of our seats! With clutch plays, killer serves, aggressive net play, unstoppable teamwork, and championship-level HEART, they brought the District Title home.
Let’s give it up for our athletes who left it all on the court this weekend!
Players, please get your jersey back to Ms. Pae or Ms. Timinski as soon as possible, so we can celebrate our season.
