Good morning Newton! We are finally here- our amazing cast and crew will be presenting Beauty and the Beast to 6th and 7th grades today during the school day. Please remember to be fantastic audience members. Any students not following the CODE during our performance will be asked to leave. We can't wait to show you what your classmates have been working on! 


There will be a Brain Bowl meeting after school today. See Mr. Collins if you can't make it. The meeting will be in room 1515 until 4:40.


Reminder to student council members we have a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 21st after school at 3:30pm in the library. See Mrs. Jenkins or Mrs. Sutton with questions. Remember to WEAR your shirt on Thursday!!


8th Grade Lady Knights join together with your coaches to celebrate a terrific season today after school in Room 0529. 


Students...it's that time again! CODE shop is coming this Thursday during your lunch. Remember to bring your cards, have your name on them, and show CODE behavior (of course!).

Congratulations to the Newton wrestling team for an amazing season! Last night's tournament was an event to behold. Our athletes grappled well into the evening and these matches did not disappoint. Our Newton varsity 1st place district champions are James Delponte and Keaton Lidiak. Varsity silver medals were earned in some of the toughest matches of the night! Great job Jacob Thomas, Ector Campbell, Caden Simpson, Frank Blanco, Tysen Van Gelder and Carter Closson. Our varsity Bronze medalist was Yaxel Villanueva who had an amazing evening. Please also congratulate Devon Simon who took 4th place in his varsity weight class. 


Junior varsity did not disappoint though there are way too many medalists to list, we are extremely proud of their efforts and progress. Great job this season!!!

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls A and B teams on great wins over Goddard yesterday. 

The A team finished an undefeated season with a strong performance from Riley Moore, who scored six points and also had six steals. Sloan Scully was the leading scorer with 12 points. Charlotte Hayes had 10 rebounds and six steals, and Eleni Finch also had six steals.

The B team played their best game of the season and were led in scoring by Isla Green and MJ Ginter with 8 points each. Amalia and Cali also had great games with aggressive defense and steals. Congrats on a great season! Uniform turn in will be Thursday after school.



It's Pink Out Day for Mrs. Andrews today! Staff, please take photos of your colleagues or students wearing pink, and text them to Mrs. Andrews. Let's send a flood of support her way!

Our raffle winners are Blank, Blank, and Blank. Please see Ms. Sands in the library to collect your prizes. Congratulations to our winners! The fair will wrap up today at 2:30.

The 7th grade girls basketball A team had an impressive 43 to 18 win over Euclid yesterday. Charlotte Hayes led the scoring with 14 points, while Sloane Scully had a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Hello and Happy Halloween!! 🎃 Helpful details for the Halloween Festival happenings today!

If you purchased an advanced ticket for the Halloween carnival and dance today you will receive your ticket from your 7th period teacher. Students you will go to your Study Hall for attendance and to begin class. We will have an announcement at 3pm to dismiss any student who has a ticket for the Halloween dance & carnival. Students you will go to the gym doors for entry. Have your ticket in your hand and ready to enter. Students you WILL take your backpacks with you and store them in the gym until the dance is over. Any student who did not buy an advanced ticket, can still join us at 3:30pm. We wrap up at 4:30pm!!


Your Student Council has worked hard to put together a great carnival and dance for everyone with some cool prizes. Please be respectful of the StuCo members running the carnival stations and any adult who asks something of you. Please have fun and follow the CODE! Thank YOU!

Basketball Results

A Team:

The A Team had another stellar game. They continue to play with enthusiasm and hustle as they beat the Powell Pumas. The Lady Knights displayed great passing, tough defense, and were strong on the boards. They remain undefeated at 4-0.


B Team:

The B Team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 19-12 defeat of Powell. Defense led the way as they came up with steal after steal which often led to fast breaks and easy baskets. They also had multiple blocks and out rebounded their opponent on the way to victory.
