     EVEN Day  Schedule


Pledge of Allegiance

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all.”


Attention all 8th grade NJHS members. Our first mandatory meeting will be held  today right after school  in Ms. Seavall’s room. Please check google classroom for more updates and volunteer opportunities for September. 


If you are interested in joining student council it is not too late! Our next meeting is today after school in room 1511. We will have a full meeting agenda and will start at 3:35-4:30pm. We will hear officer speeches and begin planning our first assemblies. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Jenkins or Mrs. Sutton. There will also be more information posted in the Grade Level Google Classrooms.


Brain Bowl is a club for friendly academic competition in geography, history, math, literature, science, and more. Our next meeting is today after school until 4:40 and new members are still welcome. The meeting is in Mr. Collins's room 1515.



It took a bit of time to get the results back from last week’s track meet, but I am excited to share that both our Boys Track and Girls Track teams dominated.  


The boys won 87-34.  Ector Campbell won the 60m hurdles and the Discus.  Wyatt Henderson won the 1600 M Run.  Caleb Schleiger won the 100 meter dash.  Adrian Velasquez won the 800 M Run.  Aaron Newton won the 200 M Dash.  Walter Madden won the Long Jump.  Caden Simpson won the Shot Put.  The Medley Relay and 800 Meter Relays were won by a team of Jude Van Dusseldorp, Caden Simpson, Rex Marshall, Luke Sigafus.  The 400 Meter Relay was won by Nelson Pugh, Wyatt Henderson, Aaron Newton, Ben Hildahl.


The Girls won 79-36.  Payton Napolilli won the 60m hurdles, 100 M Dash, and Long Jump.  Cora Cogswell won the 1600 M and 800m Runs.  Phoebe Purchase won the 400 M Run.  Maddie McNab won the High Jump.  Megan Lea-Shaddocks won the Shot Put.  The relay team of Payton Napolilli, Kate Visscher, Violet Keglovits, Rylee Neil won both the 400m and 800m relays.  And lastly, the Medley Relay was won by the team of Pheobe Purchase, Addison Kersnick, Riley Maddock, Cora Cogswell.
