Congratulations to the boys and girls seventh grade track teams as they finished up their successful season last night over at Powell. The crowd was intense and there were many spectators cheering on all of the athletes. Despite their best efforts, our boys came up just a little bit short and lost to Powell to finish their season 2 - 1. It was a winning season and a season where we hope everybody had a good time and learned something about track and field.

The girls came out fast and furious, and in the end, defeated the Pumas by a score of 85 - 32. They finished the season undefeated and are the 7th grade district champions. You could say our girls were dominant this year as they out scored their opponents in three meets 260 - 84! Many of our girls did not lose an event during the three meets and there are too many to name here but rest assured the future is bright for the eighth grade Track team next year. Pay attention to announcements as we will schedule our pizza party for next week. Get your track uniforms returned to Mr. Wilmes or Ms. Perkins as soon as you can. Way to go Knights!
