Student Council meets today in the mini-theater from 4-5pm.  Please bring your chromebook with you!  Any student 6th, 7th, or 8th grade can participate!  See you there!

6th Grade Track --- you have a meet on Oct 3rd after school

The Littleton stride is coming up in about a month. Our goal is to have 150 participants  run on behalf of Newton Middle School. Currently Newton Middle School is in first place in the entire district for number of people to have signed up. Our current total of 61 participants. Students remember - if you do sign up for the race have your parents email Mr. Wilmes or Ms. Ubrun and you will receive a code card for every person entered in your group that is running for Newton. If we get to our goal of 150 participants, right or wrong, Mr. Wilmes will run the race in a dress and Ms. Ubrun will run the race in a suit and tie. I'm sure that's something we all want to see. Get signed up today!

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls volleyball team for their clean sweep against Powell last night. The A Team won the last two games after dropping the first game. All three games were very close. The B team won in two games with Charlotte Hamilton serving 12 consecutive times to win the first game. C team battled back twice from being down and won in 2 games. Way to go ladies! Come and see your undefeated 7th grade volleyball team take on Euclid here at Newton next Wednesday after school!
