Last night the 7th grade boys basketball teams played great!
The 7th grade A team won 34-26 over Powell. Vincent C led
the team in scoring and Cass H doninated the boards.
Powell’s b team hit a 3 pointer to take the lead with 11 seconds
left but Gavin L drove the court, sunk a layup, was fouled and
made the free throw with 1.5 seconds left to give Newton the win,
17-15. What a finish!!
Newton’s c team played hard but lost to powell. Mason R led the
team in scoring in the final game. Our next game is next Monday
at home. Please come root our teams on!
STUDENTS - THERE IS NO NORMAL FOR KNIGHT TIME ----

TEACHERS - PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK your rosters daily!
We need to get students to their correct classes right away.
