6TH Grade: Coed Basketball
There will be an interest meeting TOMORROW before school at 9:30 in the gym for any boy or girl interested in joining 6th grade basketball. The meeting will only last 15 minutes come ready to have some fun hooping it up! Please see Mr. Blake if you have any questions.
Attention all student council members. We will have a short but important meeting TOMORROW. We will be signing up for the pancake breakfast and get passes for the root beer float party. Make sure you arrange for a ride if needed. We will be finished by 3:15. See you in Mrs. Mack's room after school on Wednesday.
There will be NO Lego Club today after school but we'll meet up next Tuesday and new members are still welcome. Reminder, no Lego Club today.
The 7th grade boys basketball A team closed out the season with a 4 point win over Euclid last night. CJ G led all scorers with 19 points, and Chase D added 11. The boys B team lost a tough game, with Ben A and Michah C leading the team with 6 points each. In the last game of the night, the C team lost a tough defensive game, as Jacob G scored 10 points and Josh M put in 6. All 7th grade boys should return their washed jerseys to Mr. Worsley as soon as possible. Congratulations on a great season!
The next Newton Community KNight is next week on Feb 21st at Mellow Mushroom SouthGlenn. Mention Newton when you come in anytime between 5pm-close for dine in or take out and 15% of your bill will be donated back to our school!
