Attention 8th grade students:
Relays, hockey, basketball,
softball, volleyball & last year dodgeball. Yes all those games where
the 8th graders went down in defeat against the staff.
It is that time of year
again when the 8th grade class thinks they have what it takes to try to win a
competition against the staff. If you think you can "bring it" to kickball against the teachers, then sign up
with Mrs. Jenkins or Mrs. J. Andrews.
We will have our annual 8th
grade vs. staff game on Monday, May 20th after school from 3-4 at the field. Space
is limited to play! Everyone is invited to come and watch!
Growling Gardner is already on
the roster...which teacher will you face next?

Congratulations to the members of the Swiss
American Trans-Atlantic Orchestra for performing in the Elitch Gardens Music
Festival Saturday and receiving the gold award, the
highest honor possible. The judges were extremely impressed with the
performance.
You can see the Swiss/American
Trans-Atlantic Orchestra in concert tonight at 7:00 in
the Newton gymnasium. Please come an see this once-in-a-lifetime experience and
to see our Swiss guests as well as our own Newton Orchestra members in action.
