Finally! Are you ready for Newton’s
Knight of Talent? All grades and types of acts are welcome to
audition. Audition packets are ready for you to pick up from either
Ms. Plegge or Ms. P. Andrews. Please read all information in the
packet very carefully. You and your parents must sign an audition
agreement, and all completed forms should be given to either Ms. Plegge or Ms.
Andrews in order to sign up for an audition day and time. Deadline for forms is Friday, February
22. See either Ms. Plegge
or Ms. Andrews with questions.
Attention ladies! Do you want to stretch
yourself physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Then join Girls
on the Run! Girls will gain self-esteem and learn healthy lifestyle habits
while training for a 5k run/walk race. Registration is now available. Pick up a
flyer from the main office. See Ms. Plegge or Ms. Vacante with any questions.

Are you an 8th grader with a 3.5 or higher GPA or a 7th grader with a 3.7 or higher GPA? If so, you should receive an application to National Junior Honor Society from your 2nd block teacher this morning. Make sure you read it carefully, turn your part in by February 19 (next Tuesday) and give out your three required references as soon as possible. References need to be completed and turned in by February 22 (next Friday).
Only those with complete applications turned in to Mrs. Hissem or Mrs. Petrelli on time will be considered for membership, so make sure you get yours turned in so that you can join us Wednesdays after school for food, friendship and fun!
