Attention Newton Knights: Is saying the
word "Checkmate" music to your ears? Do you get excited when
you seize the opportunity for a double attack? Do you
just enjoy playing chess for the strategy and fun of it? Well, you're in
luck! The Littleton Public Schools District Chess Tournament is coming
soon! The tournament will be held here at Newton on Saturday, December
1st beginning at 8:00 AM. If you would like to participate or want more
information, please see Mrs. Lacey in room 206 or Mr. Cohen in room 204.
"Hey ladies~The Rockin' Club of Babes will
be meeting Wednesday after school in the art room for jewelery making and
treats!! Bring your club fee and all the pop tabs you can~see you there!"
8th Graders – Please be sure to
check the websites for the high school you will be attending for important
information on upcoming events that may pertain to you and your parents. Also,
do not forget that you need to open enroll if you plan on attending a high
school other than your attendance area high school.
Littleton Lion Pride Review – Nov 15th
6:30pm
Attention all 6th grade girls interested in
volleyball. There will be a meeting on Monday after Thanksgiving break
regarding the volleyball season at 3:00 in room 114. If you cannot attend
the meeting on Monday after the Thanksgiving break, please see Mrs. Rodrigue
for a practice schedule. Practices will begin on Tuesday at 7:00 before
school. Remember, the meeting is Monday after the Thanksgiving Break.
