 7th graders, if you are interested in joining NJHS next year and have at least a 3.5 GPA, you have been invited to participate via your grade level Google Classroom.  The deadline is Monday, April 4th.  NJHS is an optional, year long service club.  If you have questions, please see Ms. Omdahl.

CMAS testing starts next week, please make sure your chrome books are fully charged every day. ALSO - Make sure you have a book to bring with you everyday, the library will not be open during testing to check one out.

Wednesday, March 9, 2022 EVEN Day LATE START Schedule

 There will be an NJHS meeting on Friday, 3/11 at lunch. Please make sure to pack your lunch and wear your t-shirts. If you have any questions or conflicts, please see Ms. Omdahl.  

The Lady Knights had their first game of the season last night at Powell.  The gym was electric with excitement for the competition. Newton A defeated Powell in two games 25-21, 25-18 lead by the serving prowess of Kinsey C, Shelby K, and Julia H.  While B Team's effort did not result in a win Tuesday night, they forced Powell to play three tightly contested games and were lead to victory in game two by a string of Aces served by Katherine R.  C Team battled mightily but was unable to secure victory.  Haley K's consistent serve kept the lady nights close in the first game.   Congratulations for an exciting night.  

 

Come cheer on the Knights Thursday as they take on Goddard!

Posted in the 8th grade Google Classroom is a survey where you can vote on your classmates to earn a spot in our yearbook for titles like Most Likely to be in a Movie, or Most Likely to be in the Olympics. Please go and vote after school or when a teacher says it

 Lost and Found will be disposed of on Friday! 

 Parents- lots of heavy jackets and hoodies along with about 50     water bottles!
